Advanced Automotive Demon Eyes finally Complete

Advanced Automotive Concepts sent me a new large ring the day I called them and told them UPS has broke mine and they also sent me a new small halo ring on 2 days later when I tested the smaller ring to make sure it works. One of the smaller rings that I tested didnt even turn on when I connected them.

Finished up my right head light over the weekend. This time it took me about 2 and a half hours to bake, install and put everything back together because I already know what to do with it. I am very please with how my head lights look now and not retarded like before with just halos on one side.

Advanced Automotive Demon Eyes finally came in!

After 4 and a half months later after I sent in the wrong color that they sent me I finally got my Ultraviolet Halo Rings. Unfortunately one of the large halo rings were shattered when I got it so I was only able to get one of the headlights done, but they turned out really nice.

Baking the headlights and opening it up was not as hard as I thought it would be but it just takes a lot of time because you want to be really careful not to crack the headlight lens or break any of the components and if necessary bake it again to get the factory seal to melt a little before you do it again.

Currently I have one head light completed, now Im just waiting for AAC to send me the other Large halo ring to me which will take another week but the results are worth it.

I connected the halo ring inverter into the parking light harness so I can turn the halo rings on without have my low beams on. Based on the instructions that they have sent, they wanted you to connect it into the low beam harness.

My camera didn't take the pictures good enough to show how nice it looks. These look a lot better when my camera doesnt flash at it.

Oil Change

My first time doing an oil change myselft and couldn't believe how easy it was. The entire process took about 20 minutes tops. I used a Bosch premium oil filter and Castrol GTX, SAE 5w-20 oil.

I raised my car up with a jack stand on the right side to undo the plug then lowered it back down so all the oil can drain out. The oil filter is the easiest because it could be found underneath the hood behind the engine. With the Corolla that I used to drive, it was located underneath the car.

Spray painted my chrome strakes

Started spray painting my chrome strakes today because I didn't like the chrome on my RX8.

First thing I did was I used a can of black spray paint and put multiple coats on it, then I used a can of clear coat to make it a little shinier to match up with the body paint. I chipped a little part of one of the strakes and didnt have any more of the black spray paint i had used earlier so I used a little bit of the factory touch up paint tocover it up. It turned out pretty good.
